Why do I need routine visits during pregnancy?
Seeing Dr. Anghel on a regular basis throughout your pregnancy gives him a chance to check you and your baby to make sure you’re both healthy. During these routine visits, Dr. Anghel checks on your baby’s development. He also checks on your condition to see if any problems are occurring, such as pre-eclampsia. If any potential problems are found, they can be addressed early on to prevent complications.
How often are prenatal visits?
You’ll need to see Dr. Anghel once a month until you reach your 28th week of pregnancy. However, if you have a high-risk pregnancy or any other problems, you should plan on coming in more often. From your 28th through 36th weeks, you’ll typically need to come in for visits every two or three weeks. When you hit your 37th week, Dr. Anghel will want to see you once a week until you’re ready to deliver.
Will Dr. Anghel deliver my baby?
Dr. Anghel delivers 95% of his patients, so there’s a good chance that he’ll be available during your delivery. He has extensive experience with all types of deliveries, including vaginal births and cesarean sections. He also has a lot of experience with deliveries for high-risk pregnancies.
What are common issues of a healthy pregnancy?
Even if your pregnancy is going pretty smoothly, you can still experience some common signs and symptoms. These might include morning sickness, which can hit you at any time of the day. Morning sickness usually occurs during your first trimester. You might also have fatigue throughout pregnancy, as well as sore breasts. Later on in pregnancy, you might have lower back pain as your baby grows. Your ankles and feet might also swell from this added pressure.
